爱可视 Archos 5 Android 平板居然是双操作系统

在PCMAG的一篇评测文章中，编辑透露Archos 5 Android平板同时运行着两个操作系统。

Last year, consumer electronic manufacturer Archos introduced the "Archos 5 Internet Tablet." The 4.8-inch touchscreen device could record and play videos, MP3′s and browse the Web. On Tuesday, the company launched a new version of the tablet that will run Google’s open source Android OS.

The new "Archos 5 Media Tablet" can switch seamlessly between the Archos and Android OSes, though the experience looks and feels like the Android OS. If they had not pointed out that there are two OSes, I would have assumed the tablet contained the Android OS with a few Archos applications.

Archos included both OSes so they could leverage the strengths of both systems. Most of the multimedia tasks like watching or recording video, listening to MP3s, or viewing pictures are executed by the Archos OS. The Android OS handles web browsing, e-mail, and access to the Android Market, which offers free and paid applications.

全新的Archos 5平板电脑可以无缝的在Archos和Android操作系统之间切换，但用起来的感觉就像是一个纯粹的Android OS设备。如果不是厂家的人指出Archos 5使用了双操作系统的话，我一定以为这个平板是在原始的Android操作系统中内置了几个Archos的应用程序。

爱可视使用两个操作系统是为了发挥出他们各自的优势：录制/回访视频，播放mp3，浏览图片这些传统PMP的工作都是在Archos OS下进行的。而Android则负责浏览网站，E-mail，访问Android Market等优势项目。

此外，我们还注意到Archos 5的电阻屏分辨率为800*480，这个分辨率是在Android 1.6 Donut中才开始提供支持的，这也就意味着Archos 5上市时将搭载Donut？

pcmag这篇文章还提到Archos 5还有一个8G的版本，价格仅$249.99，但是爱可视的网上商店最便宜只有16G版本，售价$299.99，这两个小容量版本之前在Amazon都没有出现过。
